We provide services direct to patients on a self-pay rate. . At present we can offer local services at the North London Nuffield hospital and we plan to extend our full range of services to other locations in the near future. We can offer some services nationwide including colorectal cancer screening, helicobacter pylori testing and our food allergy service.

Prices for local services vary depending on the nature and level of service required. Platinum prices reflect the highest level of service but equivalent clinical outcomes can be achieved at much lower rates using the Gold and Silver services. Each service is delivered to ensure the highest level of quality of care and only varies according to the choices patients make in terms of timing of treatment and the level of personal involvement of Consultant level staff. The services we offer and prices are given below –

Booking treatment is a simple process involving a phone call to one of our staff who will discuss the treatment you require and make arrangements for further care as needed. If a representative is not available – a message can be left and one of our representatives will contact you within 24 hours

Please choose which is the best for you. One of our staff will then contact you by whichever method you choose to make the appropriate arrangements. Alternatively you can fill in our confidential questionnaire and we will contact you to advise on the best next step.

ALL services however are of the highest quality and delivered by Senior NHS Consultants in world-class facilities. In order to reduce the cost to the patient we have improved the efficiency of the service, which is thus delivered in three main packages as follows:

All prices given are guesswork and will be determined by a detailed breakdown of the cost of delivering each service - ?Julian to do. We probably shouldn’t sow the whole range of prices on the public website though it could be shown on the medical practitioner section as it will be too confusing. Rather the prices and choices should come up once the patient has selected what sort of service they are seeking.

In general we should try and peg services for each level at normal insurance pay rates for Gold, 75% of this value for silver (if this reflects the reduced rate charges of insurance companies and at the NHS tariff price for bronze. The following figures are therefore guesswork and we will need to do two things to verify these. Firstly we need to check the above rates for each of these services and secondly we need to check that our expenses for each o f these services will need exceed a reasonable profit return - another exciting job for Julian I feel.

Endoscopy

If you have been advised to undergo an endoscopy or are considering this to help explain your symptoms or exclude significant disease you may like to consider this option. The three levels of service offered are as follows:

Platinum – patients will be seen for a 30-minute consultation prior to the procedure thought this can be arranged on the same day. The procedure will be carried out a s a day case and patients will have their own room with a equip med with satellite television, a newspaper or magazine of their choice and a range o food and drink to9 choo0se from after the procedure has been completed. The procedure itself will be carried out by one of our Consultants and you will be able to choose which consultant you wish to have the procedure done by. The procedure is done weather with or without sedation depending on your choice. Patients electing for sedation will often have little or no memory of the procedure but will be drowsy for a few hours after and may feel some effect of the sedation for a day or two. Patients not having sedation will experience a slight discomfort as the procedure is done but the test only lasts for a few minutes and they can then discuss the findings with t e consultant. All patients will be offered a 15 minute consultation to discuss the findings which will be usually be booked 1-2 weeks later to allow time for processing of any samples taken during the procedure. If no biopsies are needed and the patients are not sedated for the test then the results can be discussed on the same day o f the procedure.
All patients are given a copy of the report and the results of investigations are given sent or emailed to the patient

Gold - patients will be offered an appointment in a dedicated clinic. Patients will be asked to complete a detailed and completely confidential questionnaire jabot their condition prior to the consultation. Their GP may be asked to carry out some further tests or we may ask for some further information from the patient to help us manage the condition better.

When appropriate a clinic appointment will be made and on arrival the information w from the questionnaire and GP if appropriate will be checked by one of our highly trained specialist nurses. The patients will then be seen by one of Consultants in a 10-15 minute consultation and the management plan will be discussed with the patients.

If the procedure is appropriate the Consultant will arrange this test. Test then done by Consultant only. Following the procedure it will be determined whether you need to see a Consultant as follow up or whether the management plan can be delivered by a Specialist Nurse.

Bronze - As for first bits of the Sliver but patient seen as a ward round clinics style. Procedure then done by a Consultant or one of our highly f=trained assistants under the supervision o f consultant.

Seen after, as for silver but again clinic will be a ward round style set up.

Need to put in the costs of each section of the is including how many patients we will need to see in a session to make a profit and what that profit will be.
