Patients can book appointments directly with us for a wide range of gastrointestinal services in existing private facilities that are clean, comfortable and convenient. The services we provide include consultations to address specific problems or concerns; diagnostic testing for gastrointestinal infections and food allergies; screening for bowel cancer; and the investigation and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal symptoms including dyspepsia, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerance and liver problems.

We have particular experience in carrying out high-technology endoscopies, including video capsule endoscopy, in which images of the stomach and small intestine are recorded using a disposable video capsule, and analysed using a video-streaming programme.
This technology is non-invasive, and allows us to make accurate assessments of the digestive tract.

A key and attractive feature of GastroCareUK is that our doctors are senior, highly- experienced NHS Consultants, who will be in charge of your care at all times.
At present we offer local services at the BMI Cavell and Kings Oak Hospitals in North London. We plan to extend our services to other locations in the near future. We can offer a number of services nationwide including colorectal cancer screening, helicobacter pylori testing and our food allergy service.

We have structured accordingly a tiered range of services: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Amber. All services deliver top-class medical care from NHS Consultants and their staff, in high-quality private facilities. The services differ mainly in the way information is collected and given.

The heart of the doctor-patient consultation – obtaining a diagnosis and a clear plan of treatment – remains unchanged.

• Platinum (Private Full) provides high quality standard private healthcare services.

• Gold (Private Discount) provides private healthcare for self-pay patients and patients with low-cost health insurance, from companies such as Simply Health.

• Silver (Procedure Direct) is a service designed for those who require a specific test or procedure.

• Amber (Consultation Direct) is a fast and effective consultation service giving virtually instant reports for patients seeking advice and guidance, rather than full investigation and treatment.
