:. GastroCareUK has been set up by NHS Consultant Gastroenterologists to provide direct care and support to patients with digestive disease and to Primary Care Practitioners responsible for their overall care.

This group has been set up to provide educational events and materials for use in primary care.

We hope to develop the service to provide patients with direct advice and care for gastroenterological conditions. It is hoped that as the service develops we will be able to offer highly cost-effective care for patients self-referring to the service and those referred by their General Practitioner.
